As for those who are battling diabetes, increased levels of cholesterol, high blood pressure and are overweight, they should not leave anything to chance. These conditions put one at risk of having a heart related problem in the future.

The following signs show that you might end up having a heart attack sooner than expected:
1. Heartburn, indigestion, nausea and stomach pain

The incessant pain you feel in your stomach coupled with the nauseous feeling you have may not have
anything to do with a missing period.

Some of the symptoms mentioned above have been experienced by people during a heart attack. Women particularly show more of these signs as compared to men.

While all these things can also happen to you ordinarily, you should also be aware that they could be signs of a heart attack. If you ever have feel any of these things, do not hesitate to call your doctor and have him run series of tests on you just to be sure.

2. Pain in the chest
Any form of discomfort you have in the chest should be reported to your doctor as soon as possible as this is the most common sign of a pending heart attack.
People have different ways of expressing themselves; if you experience a tightness in your chest or feel a kind of pressure there, you are at risk of having a heart related condition.
It does not matter whether it is a burning sensation that translates to lose of breath, report these signs immediately and know what is going on within.

3. Dizziness
If you have any of the medical conditions that put one at risk of having a heart attack, then you should not take this sign for granted.
There are a lot of things that could be responsible for you feeling weak and faint, you may lose your balance if you have not had anything to eat or drink for a long time. Also, getting up fast may throw you off balance and make you fall if you are not strong enough.

4. Fatigue and snoring
Most people at risk of having a heart attack claim to get exhausted after doing things that should not leave them tired. If walking a distance or climbing the stairs leave you feeling so exhausted, then you need medical help.
Women particularly should be sensitive to weaknesses that they cannot explain; this could be a sign of a medical condition.

Also, unusual snoring that sounds like you are choking should be monitored. While some people claim to only snore when they are fagged out, some people snore regularly and heavily.
Sleep apnea which involves choking while sleeping could seize one’s breath severally while sleeping. This exerts pressure on the heart and can increase your chances of having a heart attack.

5. Sweating
If you have ignored any of the signs mentioned above, you should not ignore this one. This could be a physical manifestation of the things going on in your body.

If your body shows any of the signs mentioned above in addition to you sweating profusely without doing any hard work, then it is a sign of a heart attack. Avoid driving or doing anything that may make you use your energy while help is on the way.

Also, if you notice any swelling around your ankles, feet and leg, you should have yourself examined. This may be caused by the inability of your heart to pump blood properly which in turn makes the veins get bloated.

6. Erratic heart beat
The heart may beat faster when one is excited or anxious. However, if your heart beats fast for no major reason and this goes on for long, then you should talk to your doctor. While this could be caused by anything, it could also be a sign of a pending heart failure.
